About RankQuest
RankQuest is an AI SEO strategist for founders, technical builders, and lean teams.
It continuously analyzes your website and search performance to answer two questions:
What should you fix next? AND What should you build next?
Instead of giving you another dashboard full of SEO scores, warnings, keywords, and recommendations to sort through, RankQuest turns what it observes into a prioritized next move... then helps you execute it.

Why I built RankQuest
SEO tools are very good at finding things.
They can crawl a website and return hundreds of issues. They can show rankings, keywords, backlinks, traffic, competitors, page scores, and technical warnings.
But when you're a founder or part of a small team, that often leaves you with the harder question:
What should I actually do next?
Should you fix the canonical issue?
Rewrite an important page?
Improve internal linking?
Create a missing content cluster?
Publish something targeting existing search demand?
Or ignore all of that because something else matters more?
RankQuest started from the idea that SEO software should help answer that question — not simply give you more information to interpret.
The goal is not to make SEO more complicated.
It's to turn evidence into a decision, and a decision into something you can execute.
Fix what matters
RankQuest continuously observes your website and combines crawl evidence with search and performance data.
When something deserves attention, it doesn't simply add another issue to a backlog.
It surfaces the SEO decision that matters now.
A decision includes the evidence behind it, the affected parts of the site, and a path toward implementation.
The basic loop is:
Observe → Decide → Implement → Re-check

From decision to implementation
Finding the problem is only part of the job.
RankQuest's Implementation Room turns a decision into an execution workspace.
Depending on the decision, RankQuest can organize affected pages or scopes, explain the work required, preserve the evidence behind the recommendation, and generate implementation outputs.
For technical work, that can include a detailed prompt designed to be handed directly to an AI coding agent such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot.
You don't have to translate an SEO recommendation into engineering instructions yourself.

Build what matters
SEO growth isn't only about fixing problems.
RankQuest also looks for opportunities to expand what your site can rank for and strengthen what search engines understand your business to be about.
The Growth Engine asks a different question:
What should this website build next?
RankQuest can identify two broad kinds of opportunities.
Traffic opportunities
Traffic opportunities target existing search demand.
RankQuest evaluates the opportunity, search intent, existing site content, SERP evidence, competition, business relevance, and other available signals before deciding what deserves to be built.
Category opportunities
Category opportunities have a different purpose.
They strengthen the topics, problems, and category your site should become associated with.
That matters because growing organic traffic isn't just a matter of publishing pages around keywords. A site also needs enough coherent content and internal structure for search engines to understand what it consistently knows about.
RankQuest evaluates both sides and surfaces one active Growth Opportunity rather than filling a content calendar with ideas.

From opportunity to publish-ready content
Once an opportunity is selected, RankQuest can turn the strategy into a structured content plan and generate the selected article.
The generation system is designed so that the article doesn't have to reinvent the strategy while it's being written.
The opportunity and content plan establish what the page needs to accomplish. Generation executes that plan.
RankQuest also considers existing content and previous Growth opportunities to reduce unnecessary duplication and cannibalization.
The result is designed to be publish-ready content, not a pile of generic AI drafts waiting for someone to figure out what to do with them.

Built for teams that don't have an SEO department
RankQuest is primarily built for founders, technical builders, bootstrapped companies, startups, and lean teams that need organic growth but don't want to spend their week operating an SEO tool.
You shouldn't need to become an SEO analyst just to understand what your SEO software is telling you.
And you shouldn't need a dedicated SEO team before you can start making sensible SEO decisions.
RankQuest tries to sit in that gap.
It does the analysis behind the scenes and gives you a much simpler interface:
Here's what matters.
Here's why.
Here's what to do.
Not another SEO dashboard
RankQuest isn't trying to replace every SEO tool.
And it isn't designed around giving you the largest possible collection of metrics.
Behind the scenes, RankQuest can use crawl data, Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, search intelligence, SERP evidence, and other signals.
But those inputs aren't the product.
They're evidence.
The product is the judgment built on top of them.
That's why RankQuest is deliberately designed around decisions, opportunities, evidence, and implementation rather than dashboards that expect you to make sense of everything yourself.
Built by a founder who needed it
I'm Yannis Raftopoulos, the founder and product engineer behind RankQuest.
I've spent more than 16 years building software systems across SaaS, automation, backend platforms, mobile products, and AI-powered applications.
RankQuest grew out of a problem I kept running into while building products myself.
I could get more SEO data than I knew what to do with.
What I actually wanted was something that could look at the evidence and tell me:
"This is the thing worth working on next."
As AI coding agents became part of how I build software, another piece became obvious: identifying the work wasn't enough.
If RankQuest understood the SEO problem well enough to recommend it, it should also be able to explain that work in a form my coding agent could execute.
That's the direction RankQuest continues to follow:
Understand the site. Make the judgment. Help execute the work.

How RankQuest thinks about SEO
RankQuest is built around a simple idea:
More information isn't always more useful. Better judgment is.
For technical SEO, that means deciding which problem deserves attention instead of treating every audit warning equally.
For content, it means deciding what deserves to exist instead of producing articles simply because a keyword exists.
For implementation, it means carrying enough evidence and context forward that the recommendation can actually be executed.
The machinery behind those decisions can be complex.
The experience shouldn't have to be.
Frequently asked questions
What is RankQuest?
RankQuest is an AI SEO strategist for founders, technical builders, and lean teams. It continuously analyzes a website and its search performance, identifies what should be fixed or built next, and helps turn that recommendation into executable work.
Is RankQuest an SEO audit tool?
RankQuest performs many of the observations and analyses associated with SEO auditing, but it isn't designed around producing a large audit report or list of issues.
Its goal is to decide which SEO problem or growth opportunity deserves attention next and help you act on it.
Does RankQuest generate SEO content?
Yes. When RankQuest identifies a Growth Opportunity that requires new content, it can create the content plan and generate publish-ready articles based on that opportunity.
Content generation follows the selected strategy rather than independently choosing what should be written.
Does RankQuest work with Google Search Console?
Yes. RankQuest can use Google Search Console data as part of its understanding of a site's search performance and growth opportunities.
Can I use RankQuest with Cursor or Claude Code?
RankQuest can generate implementation prompts designed to be used with AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, and Copilot.
The coding agent doesn't replace RankQuest's SEO judgment. RankQuest determines the problem, provides the relevant context and evidence, and prepares the implementation instructions.
Is RankQuest an SEO agency?
No. RankQuest is software, not an SEO agency or human consulting service.
It is designed to give founders and lean teams more of the prioritization and implementation guidance they would normally need SEO expertise to produce.
Who built RankQuest?
RankQuest was founded and built by Yannis Raftopoulos, a software architect and product engineer with more than 16 years of experience building SaaS, automation, and software products.
SEO that leads somewhere
RankQuest isn't trying to give you more SEO work.
It's trying to help you choose the work that matters — and get it done.
